My partner and I recently stayed at this charming countryside farmhouse for a night and we were pleasantly surprised. The room we had, Oak Mead, was clean, nicely decorated, and seemed newly refurbished. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by picturesque green fields. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially during sunrise. our stay at Oak Mead was a delightful experience.
While there were a couple of minor inconveniences during our stay, such as a slight lack of soundproofing in the room and a bit of chilliness on one night, these didn't dampen our overall enjoyment. Additionally, it would have been helpful to have some milk sticks or a small jug of milk provided, and some extra blankets or bedding for added comfort.

I had a delightful stay at a charming countryside retreat near Chester. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the beautiful surrounding countryside. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a comfortable bed. The owner, Menna, was warm and friendly, making me feel welcomed. It was also a bonus that the accommodation was dog-friendly, perfect for my furry companion. I highly recommend this accommodation for its peaceful location, lovely rooms, and friendly atmosphere.
Although the room had all the necessary amenities, I was a bit concerned about potentially staining the cream carpet, which made me cautious during my stay. Additionally, there wasn't much space to prepare food such as toast, but apart from that, everything was lovely.

The tranquil atmosphere and cozy layout of the room made it the perfect spot for relaxation. We even enjoyed a glass of wine under the stars on the balcony at night. The blend of contemporary and traditional interior added to the charm of the place. Although not completely soundproof, the minor noise from the residents below didn't bother us too much. we highly recommend Oak Mead for its outstanding location and peaceful surroundings.

The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The rural location was fantastic, offering beautiful views of the countryside. We also appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-equipped facilities in the apartment.
There were a few drawbacks that affected our overall experience. the strong smell of bleach in the wet room was quite off-putting and even opening the windows didn't help dissipate it.

The apartment had everything we needed, including a microwave and toaster, which was very convenient. the rural location of the hotel was fantastic, offering a beautiful and peaceful setting. - the apartment was highly finished and comfortable, with a comfortable bed that provided a good night's sleep. - the owner of the hotel was very helpful and accommodating. - the view from our room was stunning, showcasing the surrounding countryside.
The mattress in the room was quite thin and lumpy, making it difficult to have a comfortable night's sleep. There were some cobwebs in the room that could have been cleaned, considering the high oak beams and open roofs.
